Out with the old, and in with the new: Our latest release begins the migration of our Fitbit and Google Fit users to the new Google Health app. The migration will happen in phases over the coming months, and comes with an update to our tracker-integrations engine that delivers even faster, more reliable syncing. Last week we shipped new activity metrics and route maps for our runners, swimmers, and bikers. This week, a small but mighty enhancement for admins: deep linking to app pages. Now you can drop a link in any email, Slack message, or announcement that takes members straight to your new challenge. If they don't know, now they know!

Count.It hosts challenges for run clubs across the land, including one of the largest marathon organizations in the world. This week we updated our activity logs to show more relevant data to runners, bikers, and swimmers — notably pace, distance, and elevation gain. We also added calories burned for all activities. But wait, there's more: We also rolled out an entirely new and more user-friendly onboarding flow. When you're having a party, it's best to greet people nicely at the door. Have fun!

Less than two weeks from our last feature drop, we give Count.It admins more reasons to cheer: Every challenge can now have its very own hype video, and admins can set the default leaderboard for their challenge — choosing between Total Points and Consistency. Fire up your people with a video embed on your Info tab, then focus them on the goal that matters most. As usual, this release also includes small fixes and upgrades. Enjoy!

This week we come bearing a gift for our runners: automatic route maps! Apple Health users can now sync their running workouts, and Count.It will automatically display the related route map, if available. Check your log to see where you've been — and give your fellow challengers something fun to react to! Android users, give a shout if you want route maps too. Less than two weeks since our last release, we’re back with a key new feature for Count.It group admins: downloadable group member reports. Sometimes an admin needs to see who’s in the group but hasn’t yet joined the latest challenge. Answering that question is now easy: simply download the group members report and sort members by challenge status. Voilà! Every team needs a captain! In our latest release, we're launching one of the most requested features on our roadmap: user-generated teams. Group admins can now let challenge participants create, name, and manage their own teams. We've also added a team newsfeed to each team's profile page and, for good measure, given every team its own profile picture. As usual, this release includes various bug fixes and performance improvements. Go team!

Our latest release continues the trend of adding features to challenge newsfeeds. Users can now select where they want their posts to appear, including the main feed, as well as their team feeds and personal profile. We also add support for animated GIFs pretty much everywhere — and lot's of other fixes and upgrades. Enjoy!

In January, we rolled out dedicated feeds for every challenge. As people started posting more messages, we realized our feed needed to level up. In our latest release, we go full rich social media. We’ve tripled the maximum length of feed posts, and challengers can now embed videos and upload high-resolution images in multiple aspect ratios. Hyperlinks now auto-link properly, avatar images can now be animated GIFs, and feed posts look better than ever. Have fun!

Our latest release delivers two top user-requested features. First, a direct integration with Samsung Health — Samsung wearable owners rejoice! Meanwhile, we’ve dramatically upgraded our “Daily Distance” challenges, allowing admins to create “journey” challenges with custom destinations and multiple checkpoints along the way. Fresh off the launch of the wellness world’s first “social streaks” feature, this release focuses on speed and polish. Screens load faster, animations feel smoother, and we’ve made subtle visual refinements throughout the app — especially in dark mode.

Our new release brings an industry first: social streaks. The new Count.It "Consistency" view displays day-by-day (or week-by-week) progress toward any goal. If a challenge calls for 10K steps per day, participants can now see exactly how many days they've hit the target — and instantly compare their consistency with other challengers. Personal streaks are a powerful motivator. Social streaks take that to the next level. Enjoy!
