Now able to upload HoopsHQ play-by-play stats - then use the JS Ai engine to generate your match reports

Added a feature to upload player stats as per the HoopsHQ format. Adjusted all the report and chart options to exclude or include them. If included then some stats are not available.

Competitions will now accept csv inputs for fixtures and results - so you can now use our autoscheduler to produce a proposed fixture plan, export and share it with the teams and then import the revised schedule. Our results service is pretty slick as it is but if you prefer to put them into a spreadsheet first, you can!

Ability to pull in players once recording a match has started so the inevitable latecomers at youth level can be handled. Clearer indication of rulesets and recording details for each team before starting the match recording. a couple of rogue snack bars sorted as well.

Added Maestro as automation test tool so this release is mainly about adding identifiers to facilitate test suite. Players and Competition cache repair tools added completing the set.

Reaching into the backlog this one finally brings the auto match scheduling feature for Knock Out competition stages. The app now uses either central or home and away venue availability to construct a draw and schedule matches awarding a bye if an uneven number of teams.

This version adds a wizard to help guide folks through creating a competition. We think its makes it quick and easy - give it a try. We also added a funky bouncing basketball that replaces the dull spinner when moving between pages

New - Set-Up Assistant takes new users through to recording a match in minutes. More assistants to be added in future releases covering competitions and community sites. Assignments to multiple teams bug fixed - whoops. Next up Jack made it to the Aspire Nationals 3x3 competition - so adding a 3x3 module.

Record competition matches without the need to generate them first, further integrating competitions into the app. Update to latest components to keep JS future proof. More improvements to key flows to come through next to help new users, will also be looking at introducing favourites and cleaner distinction for community accounts.

Essentially a routine dependency update release. Recorded matches no longer appear when selecting a match to record. Next up will be removing the need to Generate matches in Competion administration.

So its time to move forward to the new Association -> Clubs -> Teams -> Player Rosters structure and say farewell to the flat team structures that we have used for the last 4 years. The migration tool is still there and extra help is available if you contact us. But this release will see all releases before 5.0.0 retired. This is about scaling the app to being a comprehensive administrative tool for a basketball association but don't worry, its still pretty quick if you just want to record a game or two, and yes it remains free funded by advertising which is kept to a minimum. Leagues now use head to head tiebreakers based on mini leagues. You can use filters to create the mini leagues to see the standings used. Competition standings can be accessed from the match feed. Couple of bugs resolved.

Added match score adjustments to the ticker so these are shown in the replays. This corrects an issue with period end scores. Amended the sort on the team’s match cache.

Increased no of teams a player can play for to 4 - will make the front end slicker in future. Surely no one is turning out for more than 4 teams!! Excel export added for player and team stats. Just in case that’s your thing. Personally I find the in-app tables, maps and charts out does spreadsheets on all fronts.

Adds a new target for point guards - TO vs AST Brings team aI extracts in Team Stats under Squad Stats. Similar principle to player aI extract it provides a json file for uploading to your preferred ai engine. Corrects a bug with squad numbers for the all time squad lists. You may need to repair a team’s cache in set-up if you are still experiencing problems.

To better support typical youth teams set-up, a player can now be part of multiple squads (max 3 but this could be extended in future) or unassigned. The option for allowing any player to play for a team is removed - they have to be assigned to the squad. Player search now shows the player once for each team they are assigned to just in case you want to search by team name.

New file player stats exports in JSON format that can be uploaded to your AI engine of choice to analyse although we think that we already have advanced analysis features such as Hex shot maps within the app. New filter option to include matches so your selection for analysis or export can be more refined. new player position added to player record.

Decided that squad based Hex plots were better value than anything AI had to offer. Introducing RuleSets that you can configure for your league rules (period duration, fouls, timeouts etc.) or simply pick one of the shared ones. Also added controls for recording stats so you can choose e.g. whether to record shot positions. tidied up the set-up area. Next up JSON extracts that you can use directly with AI engines.

Set up a JackStats account and let others share the stat recording and admin duties for your team or league using our new role based access (RBAC) feature. We canned the old sharing of player stats. Next up it's back to Ai for stats analysis and then we are going to bring in saved stat record settings. After that its bluetooth networking to allow multiple recorders at the same game.
