I have to record mini videos for my online students and so I've tried many different screen recorders. sunscreen, recorders, toolbars disappear once you start recording so it's quite difficult to find it to actually stop. Others don't let you record just a section of your screen; however, this is by far the easiest one I have ever used. The toolbar is always visible so you know where to click when you're finished recording. It's also very easy to section off the area that you want to.

To get straight to the point, some of the options you're given when you're going to record a video are misleading. Along with that, the audio that you think you're getting ends up being misleading. For example, you are given the option to set the FPS limit on said recording. Whenever I would choose 60 FPS, when I get my recording done, it would be at half the framerate I asked for. I had to double check if I somehow screwed it up, but after doing 3 seperate recordings where I made sure I clicked on the 60 FPS option, I am in fact not getting 60 FPS on the recording, only getting up to 30 FPS. On top of that, the audio that you end up getting ends up being a lot more quiet than usual. Even when I had to nearly ruin my ears by increasing the volume on everything I had, it still ended up being quiet. So it makes it really difficult for people to hear if you're just trying to balance out your audio.

i love this app and the quality at first seems pretty good! it saved my life a whole lot of times too! But some issues has been rising up lately, for example, after a while of using the app it wants you to pay $25 a year if you wanna record for more then 5 mintues, and i honsetly see this annoying since most of my recordings need more then 5 mintues and if i keep pulling up the app to screen record again it gets repetitive and annoying for me. Also, some of the recordings i did was kinda in bad quality where it moves slower then how the game actually moves and it makes a laggy appearance in recording. overall, i use this as my go-to recording app and i love the qualities it provides me! But it would help a lot of you fix some of these problems :)!

For whatever reason screen recording with internal audio on my M1 MacBook is not possible. This is one of 2 apps that i have found in 5 years capable of accomplishing this task. If you need to screen record over 5 minutes you will have to pay. I feel this is an extremely fair trade off and i plan on paying eventually given how often i use the app. Thank you, this app is a lifesaver, just used it again today!
