Quietly loved by 18k+ students every month and rated 4.6 on the App Store. Make cards from your notes, photos or PDFs, then review them with spaced repetition (FSRS).
Remember everything you learn, in less study time. Every month, 18,000+ students turn notes, photos and PDFs into cards and review them with spaced repetition (FSRS).
Azri (formerly Simple Anki) uses the FSRS algorithm, the most advanced spaced repetition scheduler available, to predict exactly when you will forget each card and schedule your review at the perfect moment. The result is 90%+ long-term retention with less study time.
CARDS THAT MAKE THEMSELVES
Stop building decks by hand. Give Azri your material and it writes the cards for you.
Paste your notes or type a topic — Azri turns it into a deck in seconds.
Snap a photo, drop in a PDF, or record a lecture — Azri pulls out the text, you review and edit it, then it generates the cards.
Pick a card style or create your own, so every deck matches how you study.
Add AI pronunciation audio to the front of your cards, generated automatically when you save.
SMART FLASHCARDS
Azri goes beyond basic flashcards. It tracks the stability, difficulty, and retrievability of every card, then automatically adjusts your schedule based on how you actually perform. No manual intervals. No guessing.
Add images and audio to make concepts easier to remember.
Use a rich card editor with LaTeX for formulas, auto-translate, and multilingual keyboards.
Organize your learning with color-coded decks and folders.
Choose card layouts that fit your study style: front-to-back, back-to-front, or combined.
STUDY YOUR WAY
Study in a way that matches how you learn and what you need to retain.
Spaced repetition with science-backed scheduling that targets long-term memory.
Quiz mode for active recall with instant feedback.
Typing practice to lock in answers by typing them out — with character-by-character feedback that even catches missing accents.
Shuffle or sequential study order for maximum focus or consistency.
Track retention rates, streaks, and your review history to see progress over time.
NOW ON THE WEB
Azri isn't just on your phone anymore. Open any web browser on your computer, scan the code with your iPhone camera to sign in, and pick up exactly where you left off. Review your cards on a bigger screen and build or edit decks with a full keyboard — everything stays in sync across your devices. (Available with Azri Pro.)

Overall a nice lightweight spaced repetition app with pretty much all the basic features you need. My only suggestion is to have an overall review mode for all cards that allows both front to back and back to front reviews since current I get way more practice going one direction.
Developer Response
Thanks for the review and for sharing your suggestion. I’m thinking about implementation of reversed cards in future updates.
Practical, Simple and Useful
MRAbbasi_1
The program is very useful and lovely and it is very smooth, don't be tired to the developers who make this program available to everyone for free. I have to point out that there is a great need for this feature to be added to the program, for example, there is a possibility for periodic and scheduled review for repetition, or even the possibility of personalization and receiving alarms to remind and repeat things that have not been learned or weaknesses. there is Thank you for your attention.

This app is perfect for people who really want to learn and not to spend countless hours tweaking an app and wasting time on useless features. Huge shoutout for the developers. Thank you for making this app free.I only have one request, to be able to view the cards in order (not random).

The best app for learning
Ramal19
I found this app recently and I really like it, but UI of the previous version was better. The theme is gray instead of dark now. Please add an option to change the background
Developer Response
Thanks for your feedback! 🫶 About the themes, there will be a theme picker with multiple options soon.
New in 2.2
- Vocabulary cards (Pro). In New Card, tap the title and choose Vocabulary. Type a word, then tap Fill with Azri to add the translation, transcription, an example with its translation, and audio for the word and the example.
- Suspend a deck. It drops out of study sessions and due counts until you resume it, and its schedule keeps running. Swipe a deck or open Deck Details to find it.
- Export CSV: save any deck as a CSV file from Deck Details. Free for everyone.
- Card rows and the card editor now have a menu with Archive and Delete, and you can delete a folder from its own screen. Azri asks before deleting a card, deck or folder.
- CSV and Anki imports let you Go back a step, and Go to deck opens the new deck when the import is done.
- The widget shows your daily goal progress, and tapping it opens your study queue.
- Review in Deck Details is now called Cram.
Plus bug fixes and small improvements throughout the app.
I've settled in after my move, so updates are back to their usual pace. Thanks for your patience, and for studying with Azri.
