If you want simplicity, use Family Tree Builder 5. It's easy to use, it’s also functional, and includes many options.
Family Tree Builder 5 is a family tree management and creation application. You can view, and edit Family Tree data. Family Tree Builder 5 stores and reads data from a computer storage medium or iCloud cloud. You can add photos and read reports. Create and edit charts. You can see the person's location on the map. You can choose from 7 report forms. You can change report settings. Searching for people and family on the internet.
The program is simple and user-friendly. If you have an older family tree file, which is of the GEDCOM type, with ".ged" extension, you can then open this file in this application by clicking “Import GEDCOM” on the menu. You can also save the file as a GEDCOM file format by pressing the “Export GEDCOM” menu option in the “File” menu. If you want to use all the features, you need to upgrade.
