While the first iteration of the app is designed as an extension of the smart tools, future versions will allow you to sign into your own account and search for recipes that match your beans and brewing preferences. Do you use Stumptown coffee and prefer a pour-over? There's a recipe for that. Did you make some improvements? You'll easily be able to share it with the Café community, get feedback, and track the results of other users. Using information from Microbalance, DiFluid Café determines how well your coffee was brewed, and whether you stayed true to the recipe. Not a perfect outcome? Learn what needs to be adjusted to get the taste you are looking for. Can't figure it out? Need help? Ask questions in DiFluid Café. Get suggestions, be inspired, make comments. I have the the DiFluid R2 after upgrading from the R1. The app is currently unusable for me on an iPhone 15 pro. It seems now to require the scale to enter the yield and I have no controls in the UI to zero or start a test on the R2. It connects and receives the tds when using the on device button but since it won’t even do the extraction calculation unless you buy the $100+ scale there is no point to it. The app is trying to be too much and not doing a good job at anything.

Indeed every weight field in app could be input manually without a scale, you are free to make it usable with any scale you like even without a connection capability. After our test on iPhone 15, we think it's already capable to run on your device and hope you could try it again.

Indeed every weight field in app could be input manually without a scale, you are free to make it usable with any scale you like even without a connection capability. After our test on iPhone 15, we think it's already capable to run on your device and hope you could try it again.

Just bought a new Omix and the app is completely useless, except for updating Omix unit. Putting in the green bean information is time consuming on a iPhone app, the sync process wired once, added a roast bean to a color profile and nothing updated the bean profile. No way of deleting history or mistaken tests. I thought this would be a great companion to store data collected. No way to save information as file or print. Has all these nice graphics, put are pointless if I have to write down all these nice graphics info into a log book, along with the test number, if I come back to it. For the money, wished I waited.

Im sure this ap will work when all the updates are complete…spent a ton of money and have yet to be able to use it consistently due to constant updates. Should have kept it on the bench till it was ready.

Sorry for the previous bad experience, we have make a new update on 3.5.8 which should be able to make reconnection automatically and the brew experience should be smoother, sincerely waiting for your comment on new version. Glad to hear any advice for improvement.

Amazing app BUT

Guys, you are doing well with them all, but unfortunately, the latest version is still not sound. There is still some issue with it. I would love to see putting a new grinder, like key grinder or mc4, as well as the decent espresso machine.Plus, it will be great to have a guideline for TDS for beginners
