GeoKrishi (Geo: location-specific, Krishi: Agriculture), a Nepalese agritech initiative. GeoKrishi was established in 2017 to close the gap between science and practice by applying simple and cost-effective technologies to strengthen agriculture extension services that help farmers to be competent decision-makers.
यस एपले कुन बालीमा र कुन चरणमा कति मल हाल्ने, देखी त्यस बालीमा सम्भावित मुख्य रोग र किराको सूची सँगै व्यवस्थापन गर्ने विधिको बारेमा तस्वीर सहित लखिएको हुन्छ । अझ किसानले रोग कीरा चिन्न सकेन भने उसले एप मार्फत नै रोग लागेको अंगको फोटो सहित शीर्षक र विवरण लेखी विज्ञहरुलाई पठाउन पनि सक्छन्। कृषकको प्रश्नको उत्तर भने विज्ञहरुले एप मार्फत नै दुई देखी तीन दिनमा दिने छन् ।
यस बाहेक मौसम पूर्वानुमान, नजिकैको बजार केन्द्रको मूल्य सूची र किसानको लागि गतिविधि रेकर्ड गर्ने डायरी पनि यसैमा सम्मिलित छ।
By introducing this innovative and unified service delivery model into Nepal’s agriculture sector, GeoKrishi creates a social impact through which smallholder farmers can easily access contextualized and actionable agri-extension/advisory services. This helps to remove financial, technical, and cultural barriers in acquiring and utilizing knowledge to improve farm productivity and maximize profitability. Each farm registered in the GeoKrishi platform is geotagged, enabling location-specific, precise, and customized recommendations for individual farms based on their micro-properties. This equips farmers with a suite of tools covering priority crops, including a planning tool, farm management solutions, advisory services, market access, climate services, notifications, and alerts.
