The Holmes Collection is an app designed to bring the adventures of Sherlock Holmes to every avid fan’s fingertips. It features all public domain books and short stories of the great detective, written by his creator Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. It also provides the user with 32 of the New Adventures of Sherlock Holmes radio broadcasts from the 1940s. This show aired for several years and used the talented voices of actors Basil Rathbone, Nigel Bruce, and others to portray canon and non-canon Holmes adventures. These episodes are just what you’d expect from old-time radio, with thrilling plots and accompanying sound effects. This app is just what the doctor ordered. If the doctor was Dr. Watson that is.
