An exergaming and health coaching program to research participants.
The GamerFit Health app is aimed at teens who may have mental health challenges and struggle with getting enough physical activity and sleep. The app is used for research, and is not commercially available. GamerFit Health provides access to a menu of exergames (provided separately, not in app); a secure telehealth coaching portal; progressive physical activity plan, integrated self-monitoring of exercise, sleep and mood; on-demand videos addressing healthy physical activity and sleep habits; and motivational text messages to help users meet physical activity and sleep guidelines over 12 weeks.
