Description
The Nautilus Remote offers remote control via MIDI (SysEx) of the Korg Nautilus workstation. Use it as a complementary control in studio or live situations where the original screen is not in reach, not visible enough or simply does not provide the haptics of an iPad touchscreen. The app covers a set of relevant pages to support you in a range of situations and serves as a helpful second screen even when it comes to in-depth editing, however it does not replace the Nautilus interface.
What’s New
Version 1.4.1
* Key zones and velocity ranges in Combi mode
* Cheat Sheet .pdf generation for Combis (printout of key zones, levels, controller settings...)

* Now compatible with HD-1 programs
* Adapted to latest iPadOS 17.5
Ratings and Reviews
Good app but….
Wish there was a way to go to the next song in a set list when in arp mode.
Nice, but needs more
This app is fine for doing simple mixer modifications, but it really needs to be more like the macOS version and some. Editing drum track rhythms and writing patterns for the arpeggiator are difficult using the keyboard screen and having an extension larger screen to be able to do that would go a long way to avoiding the crick in the neck, hand cramps and missed spaces, etc. Additionally, being able to edit the drum/arp option for a combi or program by allowing easier viewing access to kits, patterns, etc. on a larger screen would speed up the process.
I use an iPad Pro mounted next to my Nautilus and my iMac is on a desk behind me - being able to edit from either position would help.
If at all possible, the app needs to be able to make the keyboard sound while editing and to initiate play in song mode.
I tried…
Using either USB cable, Thru6BT or WIDI Master, configured with ch1 & exclusive enabled, it just does not work. Sometimes it has the WIDI stuff connected but fails to sync. Other times it simply says “no response”. I have little hope for this utility app. So far, a waste of time & money. Like I said, I still have a bit of hope, but it’s but the tiniest speck.
