MacOS app needs a little work

I’d like to start by saying the performance has been impressive so far—it's actually exceeded my expectations. The speeds with OysterVPN have been much faster compared to Surfshark, and the latency is really low, which is great. However, there are a few areas for improvement with the OysterVPN MacOS app. First, in the settings menu, under the “Improve OysterVPN” tab, the word "improve" is misspelled. It’s a minor issue, but easy to fix. Additionally, the “kill switch” feature doesn’t seem to be working correctly. When I toggled it on, it disconnected my internet entirely and I couldn’t reconnect to the VPN. The only way to resolve the issue was to uninstall and reinstall the app. I also noticed that features like the “Connect at startup” option don’t seem to activate, which is a pretty standard feature that should work without issue. One feature request I’d like to make is for an app icon to appear in the MacOS status menu (top-right of the screen). Having an icon there provides quick access to useful settings, and it’s really convenient for checking whether the app is connected and easily switching networks if needed. Surfshark has this feature, and I’ve found it to be very helpful.

Been using this app periodically for months and what you would expect from a VPN does not occur. 409 servers listed, mine has 33. Auto-on never occurs and most of the preferences are greyed. The protocol defaults to IKEv2 and disconnects randomly as a rule. Protection Summary and Improve Summary are non functional… I was granted a Lifetime License so perhaps the developers screwed me and linked me to a dud version. Whatever is happening on my iMac M3 + MacMini (2019), this app ought to be called VP-No….
