What's New in 2026.1.0 A big one. Tones now comes in two flavours, and there's a lot more to play with. • Tones Classic and Tones Plus. Classic is the original sound, unchanged. Plus is gentler, with reverb, tones that breathe and fade in and out, and optional snapping to musical scales. • Spheres. Orbital frequencies of the planets and their moons, as their own tone set in Plus. • Zeta. The first 500 zeros of the Riemann zeta function, played as tones. • Cymatics. See the Chladni figure the tones you're playing would draw on a vibrating plate. • Feel the low ones. Tones too low to hear come through as haptics. • Chimes, detuned pairs and a worship drone to add to the mix. • Voice. Shape a recorded or spoken phrase with the tones, and arrange it across voices, including antiphonal. • Record the mix and save it as an audio file. • Tinnitus tools (Settings → Hearing). A tone for finding your tinnitus pitch and filtered noise to place around it. Not a treatment, and not a substitute for seeing a doctor. • Better mix levels. Each tone set has a relative level, so turning one up no longer distorts the others. • Plays nicer with AirPlay and HomePod. • Plenty of fixes and stability improvements. Still free. Still a little strange. Enjoy.
