Shower Coach

Save the environment!

Free

Shower Coach is a simple, effective app that helps you reduce your water use and protect the environment. It coaches you to finish showers in under five minutes—a small change with a big impact on conservation. With clear guidance and helpful reminders, Shower Coach makes it easy to build a habit of conscious showering. Use the app to save money on your water bill while helping preserve one of our most valuable resources—water. Start today and join the movement toward a more sustainable future. On average, a person uses about 2.5 gallons of water per minute while showering. A 10-minute shower uses roughly 25 gallons. Cut that time in half and you can save around 12.5 gallons per shower. Water heating also matters: according to the U.S. Department of Energy, it accounts for about 18% of home energy use. Shorter showers reduce hot water usage, saving energy and lowering utility costs. Unique features * Smart coaching: The app tracks your shower behavior and gives feedback to help you take shorter showers over time. * Customizable alarms: Choose from a wide selection of sounds—or keep it silent. * Flexible alert style: Let the alarm keep ringing when time is up, or play a single sound so you won’t wake others. * Glasses-free visibility: Enable “Progress as Background Color” to see at a glance when time is almost up—even without your glasses.
