In this release: align virtual content with the real world using scene anchors! Plus: hand visibility, threads, @ mentions, and isolate parts or models. • Scene Anchors (All Devices; Available with an Enterprise plan) Align your Campfire scenes with the real world! Add an anchor to your scene, then print and place a marker on any object or surface. Simply scan the marker from the Campfire app on a headset or iPad to position your scene content around it — making it easy to align content on a physical object, like a buck, or anchor everyone’s view to the same spot in a shared space. • Threads and @ Mentions (All Devices) Keep your conversations organized with threaded replies and @ mentions. You can now reply directly to any annotation and tag other users in comments or replies. • Isolate (PC, Mac) Right-click on any part or model and select Isolate to instantly hide everything else in the scene. • Hand Visibility (Quest 3, 3S) Now you can see your hands in Campfire on Quest 3 and 3S. Scene backgrounds let you bring 360 images into Campfire, so you can display models in specific environments. And if you're an Insta360 guru (or would like to be), it's the perfect way to easily share your 360 photos with others — while also getting all the power of Campfire's collaboration tools. • Meet your new best friend: the annotation list View a single list of all the comment, sketch, and measurement annotations within any scene! Campfire compiles it for you, making your collaboration workflows even faster and simpler. You can use built-in filters to quickly sort the list, add general comments without needing to attach them to a model, or export your annotation data as a CSV. • Use the latest file formats Supported file formats have been updated to include the 2024 versions of SolidWorks, CATIA, Inventor, and others. No need to save as older versions — just drop in your latest CAD files and cut straight to the collaboration. Plus: you can now duplicate entire projects. Share with users in trusted domains You can now configure your organization’s account so that users can safely share only with groups of users in a list of trusted domains. Trusted domains and sharing permissions for individual users can be changed or revoked at any time. Grab parts and models In the audience view of the iPad app, you can now use the Grab tool to easily move parts and snap them back into place.

July 2024 updates • Set permission roles when sharing When sharing a project with another user, you’ll now assign a permission role: viewer, commenter, or editor. • More flexible sharing for Enterprise accounts Invite users directly to the projects you want to share and assign them a permission role. Primary admins can now add view-only guest users to an Enterprise account. • Visual enhancements You can now enable double-sided rendering by toggling the option within material properties. We’re thrilled to announce our latest update for the iPad! Thanks to your feedback, we’re bringing powerful new features including measurement annotations and enhanced slice capabilities. Point-to-Point Measurement You can now make point-to-point measurements with the Measure tool. Just point to the parts you want to measure between, and the distance between them will appear on a line connecting them. Measurements update automatically as parts are moved, so it's easy to evaluate gaps while grabbing parts. And because measurements are annotations, you can use links to share them with colleagues like you can with text and sketches. Precision Slice We brought Slice to the iPad and desktop, so you can create precise cross sections when creating scenes. On the iPad and desktop, you can lock Slice to an axis, and use the inspector to control position and rotation on all axes. The Slice plane also now appears in the Hierarchy, allowing a presenter to hide/show it.
