Crashes constantly (iPhone 8, XS)

Full bars and/or 60+ mbps wifi, but the audio drops out all the time. Half the time the signal is simply lost, even when I haven’t moved. All other connected apps/streaming (even video) working fine, but KPCC will stop streaming or the app will just crash all of a sudden, mutiple times per day. It’s very frustrating, especially when you are listening to a podcast or recording of a show that’s not live. All of a sudden your place is lost, or if the show was airing live and you were not caught up, then you better hope the next show hasn’t started because you probably can’t return to your place. Better to just use an actual radio and avoid the interruptions.
Podcast access is decent but same problem, and the app defaults to live streaming so you may lose your place even when you don’t start with the live stream. Been buggy like this since the start. If you want a podcast, just subscribe in your podcast app. This is the worst streaming app I have.

I love KPCC but this app doesn’t work!

I love KPCC and listen all day, but this app just doesn’t work. The signal constantly l fails, seemingly for no reason, although the WiFi is fine and all other apps are working on my iPhone 7. I end up defaulting back to the radio, which means I can’t use the “live stream” pause feature or access the pledge-free stream during membership drives. I will continue to support the station, but please, KPCC, fix the app!

As a longtime subscriber to KPCC, I would expect the station to have a functioning app. It doesn’t. Every time I try to open the app, it fails. On the few occasions that it has opened, there is no program schedule that you can access in order to chose what you want to listen to. How can this be? KPCC promotes itself as the most popular NPR station in southern California. Really? How can that possibly be given that most people access radio via the internet, not through radios. Please make fixing this app a priority! I bet there are even knowledgeable KPCC members who would volunteer to fix it!
