I like background music in games, but the music in this game is simply annoying. It is a very short melody and plays on a loop, so it's over and over and over. I can't turn the sounds off because I need them for other things.

A big fan of Puyo Puyo games. Disappointing to find SEGA's Puyo Puyo is so terrible!!! Fortunately, I found Crazy Drops as a replacement. The graphics are clean and has good sound effects unlike SEGA's. Crazy Drops is the best version of Puyo Puyo on iOS!

Some months ago I started to perceive some misterious Gtalk status messages from my friend Chiky, talking about “Crazy drops”, I didn’t ask what was it about, but I could smell that something funny was being cook in my friends mind. Two weeks ago I finally realized what was crazy drops about, it is an addictive iPhone tetris-like game, developed for a bunch of developers in Colombia (ColombiaMUG). My first tough was “here is another tetris, just give it a try and then remove it”, but after ten minutes playing I just got caught by the awesome graphics and the sense of deep in the game area that remembers those old handled water toys.If you have an iPhone or iPod touch, you will love this game.pros: resume option between game sessions, wifi multiplayer game, nice graphicscons: addictive

Crazy Drops is a pretty good take on the classic Puyo Puyo Pop style of puzzle games. The visuals are charming and well done, even giving you a choice of four neat styles of drops. It controls well enough with its touchscreen controls, though I wish you could pull off a hard drop the same way you can in the official Tetris app. As it is, it's too easy to accidentally move over one block to the left or right when attempting to drop a piece straight down. In any event, it's definitely worth the 99 cents and comes highly recommended.
