I have used this app for about a week and came here to give it 5 stars. It’s very simple to use and has all the functionality that I need. I used ooTunes for years but needed to find a replacement that is actively supported. I suggested a Couple of stations this week and within 8 hours they were both added. I was thinking it would take several days. So since then I have 2 more stations and they were added overnight. You can also play a url if you’d like to. This app has me excited about internet radio again. I went into TuneIn and ooTunes and got all my favorite stations and put them in Receiver. If you are looking for a simple reliable player for internet radio, this is the one!
Works like a charm - great even in the many details

All Thumbs up!! This app is great in so many details: I‘m using it on iPad, iPhone and there‘s even an Apple TV app included. The Widget on iOS allows a QuickStart on the iphone - but best of all is the easy launch via Siri shortcut - and all my favorites are synced via iCloud: awesome!!I can finally use internet radio for all(!) my preferred stations across all my preferred devices and including my HomePods just without any hassle. Apple Watch support: more good things...The WatchOS-native „now playing“ also and correctly displays what‘s currently streaming and gives volume control: for my taste, this is the fastest way to quickly start/pause and volume control: works great. there‘s also a dedicated „Receiver“ watchOS app that gives control over favorite stations and volume control. (Since I‘m using Siri shortcuts, I don’t use the watchOS app a lot). One can tell that the developers are really good in design and implementation. I haven‘t found a corner in the app that has been neglected: good work, guys!!Great value for the $3.99(Note: I haven‘t tried the ‚podcast‘ part of the app - I really just looked for ‚radio‘)

I have used Receiver since 2016 having used many other popular radio apps. Receiver has many advantages: • a very easy and efficient design• a comprehensive collection of radio sources • many ways to search for stations • a list of the listener’s favorites determined by the listener and not by a monster bot • ability to create custom streams by url • a widget that list twenty of your favorite stations • excellent privacy and tracking policy • most affordable • the best value.

I really love this app a whole lot! Will there ever be a way to rewind, record and fast forward the streams? I’ve been using this app for several weeks and I really love this app! I wish there was a way I could add my favorite stations, but I don’t know the URL’s for the stations I would love to have added. How do I find out the URL’s when I can’t get it? Is there a way to contact you by phone or email to ask questions? Thanks!
- Display of stream quality data such as codec, sampling rate, and bit rate
