A few fixes for things that slipped through in 26.10.10: - Changing a4 while the tuner is listening now takes effect right away. Before, the tuner could keep tuning to the old pitch until you picked another temperament. - The screen stays on while you tune. - As a bonus, this version adds support for iPhone Duo.

It's not only the trees that become more colorful in the fall! iPegs has gotten an overhaul (new looks! new icon!), and also added a slew of new features: - Instruments! You can now keep track of your instruments (strings, tuning, frets, diapasons, etc.). String calculator included, for gut, nylon, steel and any material you add yourself. - Profiles! Set a bunch of defaults (a4, temperament, instrument, etc.) to get exactly what you need in one tap. - More ways to visualize tuning, including tuning of multiple overtones. - Overhauled the entire pitch detection mechanism for a more accurate tuning experience. - Two new meantones: 1/3 and 2/7 comma. - Temperament specifications are now rendered in a circle. Much nicer. I'd wanted to launch with this, but you know, life. - Have a transposing instrument? We've now got you covered with a new transposition setting. - Footswitch support! You can go up and down a tone by pressing your foot switch, if you have one. - Bug fixes, performance improvements, yadda yadda yadda.

A few new features! * A new screen that shows you how your temperament compares to just intonation (thanks Jeroen) * You can now play multiple tones at the same time if you like (enable it in Settings, and hat tip to Jeff for the suggestion) * Cleaned up the bottom bar to make more room on smaller devices (hope it helps you, Christa) * Otherwise, the usual: fixed some bugs while hopefully not introducing others. Fixed a bug where you couldn't select octaves or reference pitches using the defaults on iPad (hat tip to Dan for reporting this).

As usual with new releases, this one fixes some bugs. New in this version: - You can now mark temperaments as favorites, and you can filter the list by them. - The previous version had 4 presets for A4 (392, 415, 440, 465). Now, you can change those or add your own! (hat tip to Jeroen). - The actions you can take on a temperament are now also available if you long-press on a temperament in the list. - A4 could be set to any value between 380 and 470 Hz. I widened it to 350-500 Hz (you can thank Dan for that one). - I removed the "colored fill" option for the tuner. It's not working the way I want to, and I need a little more time to think about how to improve it.

iPegs has been rewritten from the ground up, expanded, revised, and improved. New features include a standard tuner, more temperaments, and the ability to add your own temperaments.

- Improved sound: the sound is louder overall, and lower notes are much easier to hear. - Corrected spelling of Bradley Lehman's name in the temperaments list. - Distinguished between Young's first and second temperaments.
