It’s the last 10 days of Ramadan and we are still working hard to bring you fixes and improvements to Zabihah. Here’s what is in this week’s build: • Improved photo galleries and management, including photo deletion • Social media connections to all places • Better performance in dense cities • Bug fixes and UI/UX tweaks (including “New” tags and more) Watch this space for more new builds around Eid!!

Rewritten from the ground up, this version lays the groundwork for new features rolling out regularly leading up to halal delivery. First new feature: browsing curated lists of halal restaurants in your area. Coming soon: your own halal social feed!

In addition to bug fixes, we've added the ability to add/remove social logins from within the app and added deep linking so that your search engine links go straight into the app. More updates on the way! As always, your feedback is welcome!

The Zabihah team continues to work hard to upgrade the app with new features. We continually update Zabihah to give you the best possible experience. Here are the latest changes: 1) Phone numbers are now optional, though in the future they will be required for food delivery 2) You can now send emails to restaurants from within the app 3) Fixed pull-to-refresh to account for users changing locations (i.e. in a car)

Welcome to our new, rewritten from the ground up Zabihah app! We've added new restaurants, ability to leave photo reviews, an expanded prayer space section, default two-factor authentication, privacy enhancements, and have laid the groundwork for one-hour halal food delivery in the US and around the world. We want to say thank you to the millions of people who have used Zabihah over the years (we were one of the first Muslim-focused iOS apps in 2009). Eid mubarak! We've made major changes under the hood in preparation for one-hour halal restaurant delivery in May! In addition, our discovery section now has featured tiles, which are collections of restaurants in your area that Halal foodies are particularly interested in. It may look similar on top, but Zabihah has been completely rewritten underneath. Downloaded lists are now cached, we've stomped out persistent bugs, and we've added various UI/UX tweaks to make your life easier. Enjoy eating out with Zabihah!

So many sins to atone for. Hopefully this build will help. 3.1 has so many sought-after changes that it could have been a 4.0, but we decided to make it a point release to keep us humble. FEATURES BROUGHT BACK FROM THE DEAD: - Use as guest (i.e. you don't have to log in to search for restaurants); however, you still need to log in to make reviews and save favorites - Select a location other than your current one, anywhere in the world (use the pin icon in the upper right corner); includes trending restaurants at that location. - Reports distances in kilometers outside the US (we're working on getting America on board the metric bandwagon, but it will take some time) - Contact us by email (please be nice, we're trying to do a good job) NASTY BUGS FIXED: - Registration/login crashes fixed - Fixed issues with certain records stopping the feed due to malformed content - Fixed annoying situations where the keyboard won't go away no matter how hard you shake the phone NEW FEATURES - Connect an existing account to Facebook to import your photo (it's nice to put a face to a name) - Choose a map when fetching directions (Google Maps or Apple Maps) Pray for us.
