BlackJack 101 is a basic strategy trainer for the game of Blackjack. This is *not* a Blackjack game. It deals hands and lets you practice choosing the best strategy. It has an easy-to-use strategy guide that shows the correct move for every combination of hands. Blackjack 101 allows you to adjust the playing rules to match conditions commonly found in casinos, including the number of decks in the shoe, the dealer's action on a soft 17, doubling rules, and surrender. It also allows you to focus your training on the trickier hands: pairs and soft hands. Plus it has both a left- and right-handed layout, to make it easy to play with one hand or two. Introducing a new feature: Custom Hands training mode. in this mode you can choose any combination of player hands and dealer up-cards to practice. Only want to practice soft hands against a dealer's 6? No problem. Or practice soft 14s-16s vs. any dealer card? Easy. Or get fancy and practice a hard 15 or 16, soft 13 or a pair of 4's vs. any dealer card over 5. Any combo you can imagine. Features: - Four learning modes: random hands, soft hands, pairs, and a new Custom mode: choose any combination of hands to practice. - Skill levels: Higher levels concentrate your training on the harder-to-memorize hands - Strategy guide shows all the best moves and highlights the strategy for the current hand and dealer card - Left-handed and right-handed playing layouts - Many different rule configurations (1-4 decks, dealer hits/stays on soft 17, double after split, early/late surrender) - Keeps track of your stats: hands played, choices made, and percent of correct guesses

This is an excellent practice program that I highly recommend you use if you like playing BJ. The program allows you to set rules based on signal deck or multi decks. I would think if you learn the rules and those at casinos for their BJ game, and practice practice & practice you will be able to make decisions on hands that will have you in disbelief.. The key is setting the right rules in the App, vice the real rules at the casino. Nothing in gambling sure, but I have found there are winnings to receive, and really more controlled of losses.

Love this app, I’ve been looking for something that just focuses on muscle memory of knowing instantly what to do without all the slow play of chips and other players. This app is highly customizable to different rules and how the basic strategy changes with those rules. Best of all it is FAST so you can get plenty of practice without wasting a ton of time. Another amazing feature is the ability to just play soft totals or pairs since they don’t come up as often in a normal game. Great app! Thanks!

Soon to be a addict
I never played bj before this and wanted to master it for a couple reasons so I downloaded it a while back went from like 15-20% accuracy to 85% in like 10 hrs then now I’m to like 95-98% after two weeks definitely still a hard thing to master but this is a huge tool and great resource especially for cheaper then a cup of coffee definitely a 5/5 stars review here

I think this is the best app for practicing basic strategy! You can customize the casino rules and get the ideal basic strategy chart for those specific rules. If you’re having trouble with one specific group, soft hands for instance, you can practice ONLY that specific group (soft hands, splits, etc). Highly recommend!
