SoundCloud: Discover New Music 12+

So I’ve been using this app for the past 3 years and it has been amazing, but somethings I would wish could change as well as some issues I’ve ran into. The first thing is the UI, if I type in a song and I spell it wrong I wish it could put up something close to that and not say “ No Results”. Second thing is that I wish when you went into your saved playlist that you would start at the bottom or the newest song and not the top, but those I can live with so I own an IPhone X, I’m not showing off or anything but this thing has amazing speakers and for some reason when I play a song it crackles and pops which is soooo annoying, I’m an audio geek and I can not listen to a song when it cracks and pops it’s just infuriating. And the last thing is something that I’ve wanted for so long is to be able to post songs from your phone because not all of us own computers, and or laptops but the option to be able to post songs from your phone would be awesome. I hope you bring these ideas in consideration and hopefully are able to fix that bug but anyways I love this app and this is the only way to listen to songs that are posted by non singers or artists.

This has been an issue for the past month and a half now

I’ve got ScGO, so my likes and any playlists I download will show up, but just at random any UI that refreshes with internet will just be stuck in a buffering animation and I can’t search up any music, nor will my likes save or any songs to any playlists I have; this bug occurs essentially everytime I open the app, but maybe 3/10 of the time it will open the app and all the features will work temporarily and then almost immediately cut out again unless I test my luck at restarting the app.

I’ve already made like 2 different complaints about this in the feedback section on the Sc website I was routed to, but after like 2 different updates the bug is still persisting, I’ve already tried to uninstall and reinstall the app but the bug is still here and it’s really annoying when I can’t open up any other playlists aside from my likes and the ones I try to download, and I won’t receive any emails back aside from the ones telling me I won’t receive any emails back, so I’m not sure if any feedback I write about is even being viewed, nor can I even mark the feedback as a bug on the site (because I’m not given the option to do so) so I have less of a reason to be confident that anyone seen the complaints to begin with🤷🏽‍♂️

Edit: As of this most recent update, I’ve been logged out of my account and am unable to log back in due to “something unexpected” happening. Even on strong wifi connection, I’m unable to bypass the error. Even SoundCloud’s website is unresponsive and I can’t even hit the sign in button or proceed through the sign in page. Not sure what the issue is, but I’m unable to use the app and service in general at all in its current state, which is a real shame, because all my playlists are on there. I hope this gets fixed soon, because I love this app. Assuming the above is a non issue for other users however, my normal review proceeds below: Overall this app is great for some free listening with limited ads. Some things I’d love to see implemented at some point: Edit Playlist names: as one adds to their playlist, sometimes the creator may want to edit its name to be more accurate to the music inside in some way. Being able to edit playlist names in the app would be great. Reorder Playlists: Some people may want to organize their playlists alphabetically or thematically as opposed to the order by creation SoundCloud defaults to in the app. Being able to modify your playlists in this way would be a nice change. These QoL changes are indeed small, but would go a long way in making the app feel a bit more user friendly.
