Kairon is an astrology calculation software for highest precision calculations.
Kairon will not do any interpretations for you, nor will it teach you astrology.
Kairon can be very individually configured, or it can be used with the standard settings as is. All settings take immediate effect and are no longer outside of the app like in previous versions.
Self updating atlas, that will go with every update of the iOS itself.
26 house systems
23 Aspects plus parallel
Kairon contains the Ephemeris data for
- true and mean Nodes.
Additionally you have the following Asteroids and Objects built in:
- True and Mean Lilith
- Lilith (Asteroid)
- Part of Fortune
- Part of Spirit
- and more, including Eris, Witte's planets and many asteroids...
You can cast your charts from the years 1200 - 2399 for all the above objects.
There are two Zodiacs, one with twelve equal signs, the other with those twelve equal signs surrounded by 13 differently sized signs which reflects the actual sky at night.
Included is also the medieval square chart and the two basic vedic square charts.
Retograde objects are (optionally) drawn in a separate color.
The chartwheel and the aspectgrid can be scaled, colors can be stored in setting objects, so you can switch your look and feel with your moods.
The following Methods are implemented:
In text-View you get exact planet and house positions to one second of arc.
Lists can be displayed showing Firdaria Listing in Text Mode, medieval dignities, vedic dignities, positions of cusps and objects.
Bugfixes: Point of Fortune and Point of Spirit corrected for whole houses and correction of time-management for Japan (added daylight savings from 1948-1951 and changed wrong start date of local time to times before 1888.

Kairon is now basically useless
I used to LOVE this app. My last review was three stars only because they never updated it. Well, now they've overhauled everything. I lost all my saved charts because I have my apps set to automatically download. On top of that, it's SUPER glitchy. I've seen aspects that should say approaching listed as separating, unclickable links because they're mapped wrong (idk how to say this technically, but one link's space will overlap another link and you can't click the one you need because of said overlap), every time you click between the chart and aspects the orbs reset to a very high degree, the planets and points are listed in a weird order on the aspects chart, etc. I could go on and on about how disappointed I am in this because I seriously use to use this app and only this app. Now I have to find another one because this is the opposite of user-friendly.
Developer Response ,
Dear Euroflower, your data are not lost and you should have contacted support for a quick reply. Kairon has a data recovery option in share tab, that will allow you to reimport. Also the data can be saved to disk via iTunes.
There is also no general overlapping of clickable areas, but those areas close to the border are sometimes harder to click - a restart of the device once in a month can improve this behavior.
The catch with the aspects is: if the orbis is overlapping, i.e. if an orbis is so big that it includes another aspect, it can be that the wrong one of the two aspects is displayed but also with that orbis. It is best to use the orbis choker then you see. I will fix it, so that it will no more be possible, that aspects overlap, just for now the orbis choker is the fastest option.
Please contact support with questions and suggestions, as then you get replies within one day.
new update data entry is tricky
The new update looks AMAZING but it crashes when i try to enter data - am i doing something wrong??
UPDATE : i deleted and reinstalled and now it seems to be working...
It looks good, but calculations are wrong!
I purchased this app to have a handy astrology app on my phone. I was excited to see that they support Secondary progressions and Solar Arcs, among other things like transits and synastry. The feature list is long, graphic are okay. The problem is it is useless when most of the calculations are wrong:
The natal chart calculations are good, including the Ascendant and Desc axis. However, when you calculate Secondary progressions (with the same info as the birth chart, which current date , time being the same as birth time) the calculations are horribly wrong. The Ascendant moves more than 3 signs in 30 years? No method of progression (Naibod in RA, SA in Long ect) does this. When asked about this, the developer took almost 5 days to get back and their explanation was that 'it works, just use the same info as the natal chart', which is what I did.
All in all, if you are just looking for a basic app which calculated natal charts accurately, this might be your kinda app. However, if you are into advanced astrology, this WON't help you.
P.S: Note to developer: It is spelled as 'Ayanamsa', not 'ANAYAMSA' as the app says. Ayanamsa is a sanskrit word meaning 'The arc that describes the increasing gap between the tropical and sidereal zodiacs'
