I like this app. Very helpful for building geographical literacy! I’d also suggest buying it as part of the bundle which includes a USA by state map and a by country facts database.The detailed world map is a Mercator (cylindrical) projection which of course becomes increasingly horizontally distorted as you leave the equator. The other world maps look to be of a Robinson or similar (pseudo cylindrical) projection which is a bit better.Unlike Google Earth, these world maps are entirely usable off line. Sweet!A suggestion I’d have is to make the various world maps available in a wider selection of projection types. Perhaps Boggs Eumorphic?What would really be cool is to add a true 3D globe format where you could spin the globe and zoom in on a region. This would really help with gaining a better sense of landmass and spacial relationships between regions.Thanks for designing this app!!!

I love being able to find anywhere in the world, but I want to zoom in closer on detail and be able to see Asia and Australia connect with US and South America instead of at the opposite end of the page.
