Selected controls are easier to see in dark mode, with a bright face and dark icons and text across buttons, tabs, menus and switches. This update also includes the recent spike-capture fixes: completed spikes remain visible while you zoom, pause, change tabs or switch trigger channels. Average mode keeps the completed result while collecting the next one. Live signal acquisition requires compatible Backyard Brains hardware.

Spike Recorder 4.1.0 improves phone controls, spike analysis, saved recordings, and event marking. - Phone menus use compact text and fit their contents while keeping frequency labels together. Larger text remains supported. - The Events panel can still be closed while the keyboard is open. - Spike averages use completed windows after a spike. One button switches between a single spike and an average of up to 30 spikes. Voltage and time scales are easier to read. - Event and channel controls are simpler, with one shared electrical-noise filter setting. Event names display consistently in uppercase without changing saved file names. - Recording controls sit beside their signal. Brain and P300 controls take less space, and playback and Events zoom are easier to use. - Each screen's scale is saved with an NWB recording and restored when it is opened. - Opened recordings show their saved events and complete event averages. Event marks can be added deliberately and saved with the recording. - Older iPhone recordings can be imported with their event marks.
