I have been using willow for 1 month on my Apple TV and an iPad.I have had great image quality watching the live games and no real issues with either application. They worked well, no freezing and most of the time I had a high quality picture.I only plan on watching for a few months of the year so wanted to put my subscription on hold. Well there is no information in the app or website on how to do this. After searching the web found you have to send the support team an email to cancel the subscription. They replied within 48 hours to my email. They then tried to sell me a long term subscription. After I rejected that option they did confirm by email that my subscription had been cancelled. Not the way I want to manage my subscription so I will look at other options.

Willow TV is hands down the worst streaming service I’ve ever subscribed to — and that’s saying somethingFirst of all, the ads are unbearable. I’m paying for a premium subscription, yet I’m bombarded with the same annoying ads over and over again — sometimes 3 or 4 back-to-back! What’s the point of paying if I’m still being treated like a free user? Even worse, the ads cut in during live play, so you literally miss important moments just to watch the same ad for a bank or detergent for the 100th time. Absolutely ridiculous.Then comes the buffering. You’ll be watching a key over in a tight match, and boom — frozen screen. The stream stutters constantly, randomly crashes, or drops to garbage quality. It’s 2025 — why does your stream feel like dial-up internet?The app is slow, glitchy, and looks like it was built a decade ago. Navigating between matches is a nightmare. There’s no proper highlight system, no pause/rewind features that actually work, and half the time the app just doesn’t load at allAnd forget customer support — they don’t respond, don’t care, and offer zero help. You’re just stuck with a broken product and no accountability.

I’m a Willow addict and I wish so many more Americans watched this great sport and channel. But this app is so bad that it cannot be helping that cause. So much simply doesn’t work in this app. Playing videos has been all but impossible for me on both the iPad (old, but the App Store says it’s compatible) and iPhone (fairly new model). Literally, the play arrow does nothing 99% of the time even when you tap right on it. And trying to launch a live video is a horror show — it hangs every time and the only way out is to quit the app and reboot it. On the rare occasions when I can launch a highlight video, there’s no AirPlay compatibility. I’m fine watching through a browser (although of course limited to the device — no casting as noted!) or on the TV channel when what I want is there, but this utter piece of junk should be scrapped outright. Start over, pay real money for a real developer and get it right like so many other services do (Ski & Snowboard being a great example).

There’s SO much wrong with this app. The worst is that despite paying a subscription, I have to watch ads each and every time, and they can be anywhere between 10 seconds to 2 minutes long, and non-skippable in many cases. Even if you leave the stream for 1 second and join again, you’ll have to waste 20-30 seconds for the ad; not conducive when watching an important match! The stream can kick you out randomly, happens once an hour I think, which makes this problem worse. There’s no pause-play function either, so even if you accidentally get the stream paused (like by taking out AirPods), there’s no way to resume the stream, so have to quit the app and restart again (and watch an ad again)! Really haven’t seen any other streaming app suffer so many problems. Works fine on AppleTV or through web
