Last semester was my first semester at TXST. The first thing I was told when I got on campus was to download the app. I don’t think I’ve gone a day on campus without using it. It has plenty of features I couldn’t do without. TRACS, the library, and the shuttle tracker for example. I won’t pretend the app is perfect though, the point of a review is to be constructive. It does have some bugs; however, the school seems to update the app regularly with helps a lot. A majority of the bugs I have run into have been the inability to open certain pages. Overall, it’s a good app. The problems it does have are easy to work around or overlook. I wholeheartedly recommend this app. I also recommend the Guardian app. While I like to think our campus is safe the Guardian app makes me feel even better.

The app has many uses to it! From checking where the shuttles are to checking your class schedule, it does it all! The app also has shortcuts to the library and the campus rec as well. I use the app on a daily basis to check for shuttles. It comes in handy in the morning when I wake up and I check to see how much time I have until a shuttle comes by my apartment. It also helps on campus when you're waiting for a shuttle to take you back home. The app also includes a shortcut to KTSW which is Texas State's very own student radio station! Many people don't know about it and by being on the app it makes it easier for fellow Bobcats to check out the talent that KTSW has. Speaking of talents, the app also includes an "events" button and by clicking it, you are able to check out the many events that go on at Texas State ranging from presentations from guest speakers to fine art performances! There are so many things to do on the app that a lot of people don't know about so I would definitely recommend to download this app and check out all it has to offer!

Downloading the Texas State app was by far one of the greatest decisions I have made so far at txst. I can honestly say I don't go a school day with out using. I have been using this app sense the beginning of my freshman year and it helps me with all sorts of things. For example it gives you quick and easy access to your class schedule with is so helpful on the 1st couple weeks of classes when you are still trying to figure out where your class is and where the building is. It's also helps you keep up with the all the busses on campus so I always know where one is and how far away it is from my stop. It also gives you quick access to many of Texas state students necessity such as the library web sight, tracs and the pace center. Also gives you quick access to your student email which saves all the hassle of having to program it onto your phone. This app is super helpful and I highly recommend getting it!!! Eat em up cats 🐱 ❤️

To be honest, I hate having a bunch of apps on my phone that have no use to me. I figured adding another one would add clutter to my screen. Friends told me to download the TXST Mobile app to help me find my classes, check the bus routes, and SO much more.The first day of classes I was all of the place trying to figure out where to go. I remembered the TXST app and went straight to it. All I did was enter my ID number and verify that it was definitely me signing in. It showed me exactly where all of my classes were and I made them all with enough time to calm down from when I was trying to find them in the beginning. It is also very helpful with letting you check your Bobcat Mail, giving information on campus events, sports, and a whole LOT more of helpful links to get you ready for you new adventures and future as a TXST Bobcat!
