I originally rated this app poorly because the pop up ads seemed to interrupt reading randomly, usually mid-sentence. I downloaded and tried it again, though, and noticed that now the ads either appear at the bottom or pop up between news articles. This is a welcome change. Thanks to the developers for addressing the reading interruptions. I look forward to using this app to keep up with the news.

To much old news Back to September REALLY

(For the current version in early 2016, it has become a tacky unprofessional app getting pop up ads and ones that won't go away. I may have to just start viewing the mobile site on the ad block plus phone web browser.)The app works pretty good features are nice. A future improvement that would be nice to be able to choose what type of notifications you get sent. It also would be nice if we had the live viper radar instead of weather underground, but it works good too I guess. It is nice being able to move around and zoom in & out on the radar.Also, it would be nice to see the part come back where you could submit picture and video reports to the news station. If they do being it back, if they would be able to make the submissions without having to have e-mail set up on the device so that it would just send through the app.

I like the app for getting notifications of breaking news. However, I am close to deleting the app because I keep getting notifications of news stories that are of no interest to me and are certainly not "breaking" news. I couldn't care less who's playing in a football game! When I get so many dumb notifications, I don't pay attention when I get ones I might care about. Either change the setting options so users can choose which kind of "breaking" news they get notifications for, or stop classifying sports as breaking news. Users should get to choose if they want notifications regarding things like sports, political, world news, local news only, celebrity news, religious etc.
