Select holidays and insert them into the calendar of your choice. The holidays will be added as all-day events so you can edit or delete them (they are not subscribed events). You can also choose to add the country flag. Saves you a lot typing! My favorite international calendar supplement

I use this app in combination with Pimp My Calendar. I appreciate the range of countries covered because I want to send holiday cards to overseas friends. It is also useful for professional people and businesses. It can help prevent delays in communications due to unfamiliar national holidays. An app with detailed information on the religious holidays of many should also be considered. This app is well worth the investment for most people and a good Social Studies learning tool for students.

I’m a Christian so I celebrate Christmas, but I wanted to know what other holidays are celebrated around this time of year. This app made it so easy to link to my calendar and upload all of these holidays from a BUNCH of different religions. My only suggestion is to include a small synopsis of each holiday.In a world where differences and acceptance is celebrated, I think it’s important for everyone to go the extra mile to truly include everyone.

I’ve been using it for years with no problems. Yes there is charge but it’s 99 cents a year—a definite bargain to have various categories of holidays and more inserted right into my calendar. Just bought next year’s.
