I purchase the basic app specifically to use the trackback function on my iPhone 7plus. I do a good bit of "rambling" when I hike and often have to go around water of difficult terrain. When I do it late day, it's important to be able to get out around the same obstacles. I'll use this soon and update my review. I start with a neutral 3 because I like what I see. Stay tuned.

I have used PathAway since I had a Palm Pilot and was glad to see they successfully migrated to the iPhone. I use it for hiking and mountain biking and it’s a very robust mapping application. I use the LE version and keep eyeing the Pro version because I want to use offline maps. I successfully installed and calibrated my custom maps.It has a good user interface and very customizable. Would recommend the GPS mapping application to anyone the goes ‘off trail.’

Try not to compare it with regular driving apps, this isn’t it.It is great if you want to CREATE your own stuff. And you need reminders along the way.It is too bad people that does not understand its features gives bad reviews.This is a real Gps navigation app.CheersJc
