This app is super straight forward, just a window that shows what your camera is viewing, which almost make it annoying that it isn't free... but then hey it's only $0.99 which is practically nothing, I mean, come on. I got rid of the stupid rearview mirror frame and use "afloat" to keep the window on top at all times. I have two monitors so I can spare the screen real estate. This app is useful to me because I work in an office where my back is turned to people most of the time and I like listening to music. The idea is that if people are trying to get my attention I will notice them in the rear view mirror and hopefully avoid seeming like a jerk that is trying to ignore everyone. There are a few features that really should be added to this app. I had to delete the picture file of the frame to mod it, that should be a preference option. Also the resizing function of the window works but it's kind of annoying to deal with. The biggest annoyance is the rearview mirror sits inside another window that isn't the mirror, it's just a window, which is totally pointless. This window is larger than the mirror itself and annoying takes up space on you screen... but for nothing... really stupid oversight if you ask me.

In my office, I have a standing desk with my back to the door. I would like to see when people are standing in my door, particularly when I am listening to music and can't hear them. This app is exactly the right idea. The only enhancements that I think it needs are (1) the ability to have precise control over exactly what part of the isight's frame is shown in the mirror and (2) an "always on top" mode combined with a sliding transparency option. If the developer could do those two things, I'd give it 5 stars.

All it needs now is full (top & bottom) left and right modes. I need these modes for work. Without these modes the app is junk!!

Now that the window resize issue is fixed it is slightly useful -- too bad one can't get rid of the "stem" on top of the "mirror" at the same time. The program does what the developer says it will do, no other gripes, really.
