Email, cloud & news - all in the account! The free GMX Mail App is your faithful companion on the road!
The Smart Inbox takes a lot of work off your hands!
Incoming emails arrive automatically in the inbox of your mailbox. One after the other, in chronological order - but mixed thematically. In the smart inbox, new e-mails are displayed in individual categories - automatically, for a better overview. In the inbox, everything remains the same.
With the cloud, GMX offers you a professional, free storage solution. It is equally suitable for file backup as well as for simple and fast sharing of large files - e.g. photo series. Thanks to the highest security standards, the Cloud is virtually undestroyable and with Cloud made in Germany, it also meets the highest standards in terms of data protection.
Particularly useful:
The GMX Mail app also supports your other GMX Mail accounts.
So you always keep an eye on all your GMX mailboxes, in one app!
Our "Push Sounds" are especially popular: these individually adjustable
notifications sound as soon as a new email is received.
Handling is also very simple and intuitive, and the interface, which is adapted to the smartphone, is particularly user-friendly. The battery-saving e-mail push service and the secure, protected access with PIN protection are further plus points. For these very reasons, the GMX Mail app has already been downloaded and installed more than a million times!

This email has everything one could need but is not messy. This is not like apps that have it all but you can’t find any of what it has. Meaning that this app is laid out very well. It seems so clean. I do have a small complaint. I cannot leave the application open while I view some of the content I receive but only on my pc it doesn’t effect my mobile app. Oh and there was a one time thing that happened: one of my regular podcasts that is received in the email was blocked with a warning. That is not something I will be supportive about if it becomes a regular event. No one may choose another’s choice for them lest they pay the high price of being dumped, forever.
I keep getting blocked
Bling Diggity
Every time I try to create an email account, at the end after my email account is successfully created - I immediately get a message saying that my account has been blocked due to “suspicious activity”. Which is impossible as I was never about to use it in the first place. So either they have my entire ISP (Cox) blocked from being able to create email accounts with them - or they’re no longer allowing new accounts to be created and just using the “suspicious activity” b.s. as a cover. Interestingly enough, I was able to create an email address by using a different ISP the other day. Everything worked fine. But as soon as I got home and tried to log in - boom! My new account was blocked once again. I was able to send one single email with this new account, to myself, to make sure the account was actually working. And it was. But for whatever reason, my account keeps getting blocked and once it does, they absolutely refuse to unblock it no matter how many times I ask. I’ve probably created 4 or 5 email addresses with them at this point - all of which were mostly blocked immediately after they were created. Makes absolutely no sense. Why sites and security systems block entire ranges of IP addresses is beyond me - I mean that’s a really old, outdated, and inefficient form of security. At this point, I’m done with GMX. It’s useless to me so I just uninstalled it and went back to Mail2World. I’ve never had an issue with any other email provider like I have with GMX. Apparently they don’t want me to use their service, though I’ve done absolutely nothing wrong whatsoever. So, if they don’t want me, I’m certainly not going to stick around. Bye GMX!!
AWFUL ADS SUDDENLY!!!!
ROCKETMAN6189
YOU RUINED THIS APP I LOVED UNTIL YESTERDAY!!! You never needed these ads now suddenly you do! Put them right in the inbox!!! Sorry!!!!!! POOR CHOICE! Since the ads began appearing you cannot utilize the “move” or “trash” icons. If you try to, the app completely crashes and closes. You’re relegated to “swipe-deleting” your mail even if that’s not what you intend—in order to go to the TRASH folder and hope it’s there. THEN you can use the appropriate icons and move it to the intended folder....What a shame the ads had to suddenly appear yet the customer service and usability of the app are both greatly diminished!!!! I’ve worked in vain with support. They seem to not understand or aren’t reading the feedback I send...!???! Still continue to be frustrated and disappointed! I LOVED THE APP until the ads started about two weeks ago. Have been told it’s so they can “provide superior customer service and support!!!” WOW!!!
Safe? - Maybe. Reliable? HAHAHA!!!!
FindMeInTheBay
The least reliable app I've ever used. Seriously. At least every other day, sometimes several times per day I have to delete and reinstall the app due to the app forgetting my GMX email addresses and passwords. The weird thing is the app still continues to show banner alerts with the first few lines of a new email, then when I try to view the email by tapping the banner or using the app, the app has completely forgotten who I am, forces me to re-enter my email addresses and passwords, tells me there are errors and can't fulfill my request and I have to delete and reinstall the app. Also, maddeningly annoying is the fact that (when the app is 'working at it's best'), I get the banner alert to a new email, then after tapping the banner or using the app, (if the app lets me in) it tells me I have no new emails! After switching back and forth between my accounts and forcing refreshes for a few minutes, it tells me it's downloading new emails, which then often takes several minutes longer. The insult from GMX regarding this is that a while back they asked me for feedback on the app and I told them exactly what I've written above. Their answer - delete and reinstall the app!!!!! They obviously failed to read or comprehend the very essence of the problem that this isn't a one off; my complaint was exactly that I'm sick and tired of deleting and reinstalling the app every time I want to read an email!!!!Deleted today for the final time. Never to be reinstalled.
