I’m so glad somebody finally made an ambulator for this game. Merlin was one of the first electronic games I got for Christmas back in 1977 and this video version of it is actually pretty good considering that, I’m using a touchscreen which is very difficult, but also, I’m grateful and pleasantly surprised that they kept most of the original sound for the game except for the lose sound is slightly different, but not enough to distract from the game. I would love it if this developer could now take it a step further and create emulation for the master Merlin, which came out in 1982. That game had nine games and the color of it would be blue, I suspect that the coding for that game would be harder. I also appreciate the fact that it must’ve taken some doing to get the coding for this game up and running and I note very pleasantly that the reaction time between the time you touch the keypad to the time that the game reacts is quite seamless and is a model for game developers. Usually the simplest coding is the best. Thank you and please create more games like this. You’re actually helping somebody with multiple disabilities. Thank you and keep up the good work!

Thank you so much for creating this game. It has such amazing nostalgic value, I can’t even describe how much it took me back to my childhood!! Not sure what some of the other reviewers were referring to regarding the sound. Perhaps, there were some issues with previous versions, but not this one!! It is exactly as I remember it. I just thought I’d share that for some strange reason, I am able to remember the button presses based on the existing light patterns that quickly allow me to win Magic Square. I’m not sure how, but my mind and fingers know exactly which buttons to push to get the square to form. Bizarre!! Oh, did I say, “Thank you?” LOL!!! ❤️

For some reason I had a flashback to what I now know was called “magic square” on that red handheld game of my youth. I web searched and found it was Merlin, and instead of forking over $20 for an antique one on eBay I got this ap for a buck.It’s what I remembered! Oddly I didn’t remember the other games except tic tac toe. Good for a few moments of nostalgia and realizing how easily we were entertained way back when.

It works beautifully! I had the same issue, no sound, so I 'played' with my settings on my IPhone 13 Pro. Come to find out, it was because I had the toggle on the side of my phone set to 'silence' and it fixed the audio issue. This app plays just like the old Merlin game. So excited!
