I only let my kids play educational games on my iPhone. This is so fun they do not realize they are learning about spending/saving/donating and investing. The fun graphics and upbeat music have them fighting over it! I have girls and they love the bakeshop where you decorate cupcakes and the lemonade stand.

This is a very good app to teach kids how to spend their money properly. It's a good app for a child of any age. it will make kids think twice before buying things in the store that they "absolutely need". If a child wants to play your iPhone or iPod/iPad let them play this. It is a really fun game. 
