My 4 years old daughter LOVED this simple educational game. There is absolutely NO: distractions (music, flashy lights, noises, stickers or any other annoying features). It is just a simple educational game that allows the child to position the word blocks in the correct order to complete a given sentence. The sentence with the correct structure is read and shown briefly at the very beginning of the game and after that all the blocks move in different directions and the objective is that the player needs to move all the words (blocks) back to the original position (hence in the correct order). It's is like a sentence puzzle, just perfect for early readers to practice reading and grammar structure in a very easy format. My daughter kept asking for new sentences. I only had to show her how to complete one sentence and she got the idea immediately. It was very satisfying for her to be able to form sentences.I will be happy to pay for a full version with more sentences and it will be great if one could import new challenging words to adjust the level to individual needs.

Fun and wonderful app great for learning to read.

I like this app for use with beginning readers. However, I would like to use it with a student with some visual perceptual problems and the low color contrast and size of the print will make it difficult for him to see the words. Changing these elements would be very helpful for him and other children with similar needs.

This app allows emergent readers to hear a sentence read aloud, then remember the sentence and finally reassemble the sentence. There is immediate feedback for readers and the level of difficulty can be increased with accuracy. Some of my struggling readers find success and feel more confident with their reading skills using the app.
