The app uses your location to show you the best poker and card room information specific to your area, as well as notifications based on your preferences. Locations are collected even if the app is in the background, in order to improve your experience on the PokerAtlas app.

All the poker info I need in one app
I travel a lot for work, so finding a place to play poker in a new town can sometimes be difficult. PokerAtlas allows me to search my location to find tournaments and cash games in the range that I want, as well as reviews of the room to make sure it’s a quality/safe location.
It helps if the room is using their software. Then you get live info on tournament and cash games including live clocks and waitlists. Even if they don’t, you can still see all the tournaments info you’d need (starting stack, levels length, etc) and the usual cash games that go on in the room.
It really has all the info you’d need if you’re looking to play poker anywhere. I wish more rooms used their software!

Up to date information. Very easy to use. Able to store player cards in app.
Filtering tournaments to nearby is frustrating
Trying to find a local tournament in this thing is a bit ridiculous. You can filter series by state, but if a tournament is 5 hours away is that even helpful?
But if a tournament isn’t part of a series, good luck. You can’t even see the city until you tap in.
The app in general is OK, but it could be better.
