I travel a lot for work, so finding a place to play poker in a new town can sometimes be difficult. PokerAtlas allows me to search my location to find tournaments and cash games in the range that I want, as well as reviews of the room to make sure it’s a quality/safe location. It helps if the room is using their software. Then you get live info on tournament and cash games including live clocks and waitlists. Even if they don’t, you can still see all the tournaments info you’d need (starting stack, levels length, etc) and the usual cash games that go on in the room. It really has all the info you’d need if you’re looking to play poker anywhere. I wish more rooms used their software!

As a dual-rate, I find Poker Atlas to be significantly better than Bravo, and it’s great to see most, if not all, casinos making the switch. However, there are two improvements I’d like to suggest:1.Players on the waiting list should have numbers displayed next to their names so they can easily see their position in line.2.The chip, floor, and food buttons could benefit from customizable placement. While the current layout might work well for one casino, it may not be ideal for others. Allowing casinos to adjust these buttons to fit their specific needs would be a valuable enhancement.

I used to love poker atlas. Key for choosing what room I would play in today. Now they want to charge me for live game information. So I’m just not gonna go to the rooms that use their service. Why am I going to sit in traffic to find out the game I want to play isn’t running or is shorter than usual. The poker rooms pay for this service. Really frustrating that yet another company deciding gouging their users was better and started charging for basic features that were always free. Let me go check the Bravo app and see what games are running there.
