This is a “must have” chess app! It will immediately improve your chess game! The options and selections are robust enough to suit any player and any playing style! Learning is greatly improved by a fantastic post-game analyzer! It could not be any easier to use! Compared to other beginning chess apps, this one is King in my opinion! My next chess app purchase will be Chess Tiger Pro! Thanks Chess Tiger Team!

Good game, but could be better

I use this app regularly, and it works well. However, I’m a novice player, and have very little actual experience playing chess. That’s why I got this app, but it doesn’t do a great job explaining how a move is good or bad. I enjoy trying to figure things out on my own, but I have limited knowledge of the king’s game, and I desperately need more coaching than this app offers. So, good for skilled chess players who want an opponent when they can’t find a living one, bad for beginners trying to learn is my verdict.

I think that you have a pretty good game, but I didn't give you five stars because you also have some problems with your game. For instance,1. When playing against computer you should be able to choose what level you want the computer to play at.2. Also, the computer game is easy to switch to the opposite side, by pressing backspace an odd number.3. When you want the volume all the way down, you can still hear it when you promote a pawn to a more powerful position.

I have been using this app we're going on two years, I try to mall, this is the best one.

- This update includes a few minor improvements and fixes. Over the last 12 months, we have released 10 updates, including the following improvements: - New «Learn» section, with 145 introductory chess lessons. - It is now possible to upgrade from the LITE version to the PRO version. - New «Frosted glass» button style. - New promotion menu. - A new option lets you disable the “Suggestions” button. If you find you're asking the app for help too often, this option is for you! - Most sounds can now be disabled individually. - Works perfectly on Macs with Apple Silicon (M1, M2, M3, M4...). - «Analyze my game» has been improved: the commentary is now always in line with the suggested moves. - The analysis of positions where checkmate is possible (direct or in several moves) has been improved. - The display of the number of moves to mate has been improved.
