Responsive and authentic sounding GCF (Sol) 34-button diatonic button accordion! Hohner announces the introduction of a series of revolutionary new apps for the iPad: The Hohner Xtreme II SqueezeBox. Mimicking the layout of Hohner's iconic Corona II Xtreme 34-button diatonic accordion, these intuitive virtual accordion apps feature a super responsive, three-row fingerboard that plays and sounds like the traditional instrument. The Hohner SqueezeBox apps allow musicians to practice chord combinations, scales, and songs on-the-go in five different key combinations and colors. Headphones can be used for private practice, or the audio output of the virtual accordion can be amplified by plugging into computer speakers, or other sound enhancing devices. Players may select to have the note names displayed on the large white pearloid buttons. With the touch of a button, the tonality can be changed from "wet tuning" giving an animated sound, to "dry tuning". This app is ideal for the beginning student or professional musician who needs a simple carry-on companion to compliment his or her actual accordion. While not meant to be a replacement for a real accordion, the app is a convenient and easy tool for practicing, learning, or teaching. GCF is commonly used for Tex-Mex, Conjunto, Norteño, Zydeco, Cajun, Vallenato, and French Canadian.

Don’t Use if You Really Want GC, not GCF

The creator wrote in a response to a review for his Melodeon Pro app that if a person wants GC tuning, the person should use this app for GCF. So I bought this. Lots to like about it. Then I realized his G scale begins on the second button, rather than the third. Using this to learn GC would cause a lot of problems. Useful if you are just using the C row, but that’s limiting.

Leo Texas-Taiwan - works perfectly on the new iPad - I'm running the app on the iPad 2 and latest iPad 4 using iOS version 6.1.2 and it works perfectly, not seeing any of the issues you've reported with buttons, bellow, sounds or labels. How about contacting the developer and seeing if he can help you resolve the issues with your specific iPad rather than using the review system for technical support? Thousands of people are running the app and not having any of the issues you've reported.

Installed on my so-called New iPad. The Push-Pull (bellows simulator) Slider will jump on its own from Push to Pull or vice versa even if holding in one position or the other. Some buttons (notes) will get "stuck" when released (finger{s} no longer touching). App is ok but needs fine-tuning.
