This app is truly fantastic! I actually like it the way it is as the free version! It looks beautiful, the time and date are accurate, and when put on a low setting, the bubble noises are calming and not intrusive or too much. I feel I will be using this app for a very long time, and look forward to showing it off to all my family and friends that have not have seen it yet. Thank you.

The concept is good and the grapics are great. It’s a wonderful app.However, as a wall paper (aka desktop backgroud), the number of “drops” is excessive and makes you loose focus on your main application. I would suggest the author limit the number of drops/min or slow down the rate of the wave. (It would be really nice if there was a preference for this). This app also has a screen saver mode, but it doesn’t act like a normal screen saver as it doesn’t lock the screen or activate via hot corners. (Another reviewer mentioned this as well)Neither the desktop or screen save modes are selectable via the system preferences so you need to launch this app and make changes there. If the author could fix this issue so that it did behave normally, I would easily give this 4.5 stars only taking away the 1/2 star for the drops of water being distracting.

I love this app. It comes on as soon as I wake my iMac and stays on till it sleeps, and the soundscape really soothes my nerves and keeps me calm and focused! (The visuals are gorgeous, but I rarely look at them. This is strictly a sound generator for me.)Another reviewer write about battery drain, and I can see how that might be a problem. Perhaps the developer could add a setting for the visuals to turn them off or limit CPU usage.

This program overlays the desktop with a beautifully animated changing image, accompanied if you like by soft water sounds.It also, incidentally, faithfully displays the system time's seconds, something that Apple's own clock only does at ridiculously tiny scale in an icon.I highly recommend that people try this.
