I replaced my computer and discovered Ricoh no longer offered legacy software for my Fujitsu ScanSnap 1500 that was compatable with Mac OS Monterey, etc. This app works well. The menu is easy to use. It does a great job at duplex or simplex scanning. It's not perfect. The things I miss are that I can no longer scan ID cards or licenses and get an easy, perfect scan without setting margins, which isn't ideal compared to the original software. It also doesn't allow push button scanning from the scanner and it doesn't recognize the carrier sheet. I still sometimes forget my ScanSnap is obsolete and I'm not using the original software. I've been using it a few years and I love that it has saved my scanner from the landfill. No complaints and it's a great value.

I bought this app with much trepidation and hesitation. Brought out my 1500 from mothball storage after a long time with no use need. Have not been able to locate my original disk. Fujitsu/Richo no longer supports driver for this machine that will work on my macbook pro. So, looked like I would be purchasing a newer scansnap, which are more advanced and not too expensive. My needs might be temporary though. Searched all over inet for a solution .... none. Found this on App store with a notation it supports the old USB scansnaps. Thought I would take a chance for the cost. Yes!!! I am in busniness. Thank you, former reviewers.

I bought a Scan Snap S1500M after seeing my tax preparer use one and I've been very happy with it. Then after a system upgrade, I discovered Fujitsu no longer supports my scanner, so I could no longer use it. I swore I'd never buy another Fujitsu product and was about to throw the machine away, but took one last chance that a 3rd party might support it. The fScanX reviews in the App Store were good, so I took a chance. And within a minute, my scanner works again, (although I may still never buy another Fujitsu product.)

I've used fScanX Home Edition for a couple of years. It is AWESOME! This software has enabled me to use my otherwise perfectly working Fujitsu fi-5110C scanner that was "Windows Only" without fScanX-HE.fScanX-HE is EASY to use, does a great job scanning all kinds of documents, and opens them up in the macOS app of my choice. It slao compresses the documents extremely well, something other macOS scanning programs don't do so well.The developer has been very reponsive to both support inquirins... and product improvements too.Highly recommended to keep your vintage Fujitsu scanner working in macOS. Brilliant!
