See exactly what your app was doing when a tester hit a bug. Open shared iSyslogKit log sessions, spot errors at a glance, and search every message.
iSyslog opens log sessions shared from apps built with iSyslogKit, the free, open-source in-app log console for iOS developers.
When a tester runs into a bug, they tap Share in the app's log console and send the session by AirDrop, Mail or Messages. Open it in iSyslog and see exactly what happened: every message with its severity, subsystem and category, plus the app build, device and OS it came from.
FEATURES
• A built-in guide to using iSyslog and adding iSyslogKit to your app"
• Severity at a glance: a chart and counts for faults, errors, notices, info and debug messages
• Zero in on problems: show only errors and faults with one tap
• Search across messages, subsystems and categories
• Filter by subsystem, and hide Apple framework messages
• Session info: app version and build, device model, OS version and time span
• A library of every session you've received
• Designed for iPhone, iPad and iPhone Duo, in light and Dark Mode
• Includes a sample session, so you can explore right away
FOR DEVELOPERS
Add iSyslogKit to your app with Swift Package Manager: github.com/nyisztor/iSyslogKit. It captures your app's Logger and os_log messages and print output in Debug and TestFlight builds, gives testers an in-app log console, and lets them share sessions with one tap. It uses public APIs only, and captures nothing in App Store builds by default.
PRIVACY
iSyslog doesn't collect any data. Sessions you open stay on your device until you delete them.
When I open this app, I am greeted with a graphic header saying "showing all processes and logs" and a blank gray screen. Somewhat underwhelmed.
Developer Response
Hello,I assume you’ve got iOS 9 or newer. Quoting from the app’s description:*** Please note that iSyslog no longer works on iOS9 and newer versions. Get the app only if your device is running prior versions of iOS. ***

This app shows the syslog or basically a log of all the processes that go on in the iPhone. I found it to work very well with informative graphics. I used this to see why my hostapd process was flipping out. Don't be persuaded by the reviewer who called the app "shady". It is not shady in anyway and is very well designed. A word of advice, don't get the app unless you know what you are doing. Have fun
Helps figure out what is misbehaving

Wonderful - one of a kind on the AppStore. Helped me quickly determine and isolate cause of my iPhone's failure to back up even when Apple Support could not.Update: iOS 9 prevents this app from working. So sad, because iSysLog was very very helpful.
Developer Response
I'm glad it helped you find the issue with your backup back then. Indeed, iSyslog no longer works on iOS9 and newer versions. Unfortunately, I haven't found a way to fix it yet.
App Ver 1.4 Crashes at Startup
Evil7twin
On IOS 6.1.6 on an iPod Touch 4th generation the updated app ver 1.4.1 no longer crashes and the App is working as well as can be expected, considering Apple's restrictions with App Log information. iSyslog is providing all the information that I need.
Developer Response
Cool, I'm happy the update fixed the crash. Would you please update the review's subject? Thanks!
New to iSyslog, or setting it up for your team? A welcome screen now explains what iSyslog is for, and the new How It Works guide shows how to get sessions from testers and how to add the free iSyslogKit package to your own app.
• Welcome screen on first launch
• How It Works guide: using iSyslog, and adding iSyslogKit step by step, with code
• A link to iSyslogKit on GitHub in the … menu
• Fixed: a shared file could be lost if iSyslog couldn't save it
• Fixed: a received session could disappear after relaunching the app
• Fixed: two different sessions from the same app could be mistaken for one
