Useless App and Pointless

DO NOT USE THIS APP!I downloaded this app to facilitate my loyalty points with MexiCali restaurants here in New Zealand. However because I own an iPad and not a smartphone, the app only works when connected to a network, for which my iPad requires WiFi. Nonetheless, the inefficient worker at MexiCali could have asked if I had a loyalty card or app before ringing up my food purchase, but did not. When I stated I had an app, he dismissed it and said I was suppose to present it before the purchase was rung up. How was I suppose to know this?? Whoever designed and developed this app did not think forwardly for those devices not always connected to a network and should have applied a component for offline status. As a result, I will stick to the physical loyalty card than ever using this app again. I will be deleting it from my device.
