This is a great app to play on my iPad. However, each puzzle is static - that is to say, you can’t zoom in and must play with the entire puzzle in view. Because of that, playing on my iPod touch was nearly impossible, as my big fingers would tap on the wrong squares two or three times before getting the one that I wanted. If you have a larger device and like Kakuro, then this is by far the best app. It also provides another useful puzzle source for old-school pencil-and-paper puzzlers like me. I take screenshots of the blank puzzles and print them out to do them by hand. With the high resolution quality of iPad screenshots, they come out fantastic, even when I print them on a full page at about 8x10” (on a standard 8-1/2x11” sheet). So if I don’t want to lug around my iPad (like when I’m waiting in the car to pick up the kids from school), I have a few of the printed out puzzles on my dollar store clipboard and I don’t have to worry about screen glare or battery charge. Also, the quality of puzzles here are MUCH better than others you can find online - I have tried dozens of websites and it isn’t even close.

I just finished all of the puzzles in this app. I have the standard sized one on my phone, but this 20x20 version is nice for the iPad. I was disappointed that there were only 80 puzzles per level. Would like to see them add more. Also, the other version of the game lets you erase pen marks and leaves the pencil marks underneath, but this version erases everything. Or it might be more accurate to say that the pen marks overwrite the pencil marks instead of just covering them up. That can be annoying when you have a particularly hard puzzle and you need to resort to trying out combinations to find where the solution breaks, then go back and try another one.But that’s more of a pet peeve, so I’m still in 5 star territory!

I enjoy this game but🙁, when you play the same game over and over, but can’t figure it out, isn’t there a way to solve it? I like to do the same number on each level before I go on. But when I get stuck, I don’t move on till I’ve solved the puzzle. Last time I made it to #33 on each level, then got stuck. Got so aggravated I quit. This game is very good for your brain, I don’t want to quit, but I feel bullied when there’s no help and I’m 72 years old. So, is there any help to solve the puzzle that I’ve not seem? Thank you for your help.

I’ve been doing these math puzzles in books for decades. This app is a perfect version of this game for my tablet. No complaints, no changes to recommend. Just love it!
