Horrible wait time with customer service

I spent over an hour being connecting to 4 different people and getting nothing done. I just wanted to top-up my router that I use every summer. I wanted to avoid going to a physical store and the options aren’t available on the Cosmote App. I was forced to go to a store and even then they told me I could have done it on the app or through a representative, I almost blew-up. Waisted hours of my day to get this done. NEVER AGAIN!

Online activation doesn't work

I recommend not to purchase sim card from Cosmote online, if you are a foreigner, because you will not be able ti activate your SIM card through the application, which seems to be the only way. After successful verification of you identity, the form is not picking up your first and last name, which are mandatory fields that can't be entered manually, you are not able to move to next step. After talking to support for 12 minutes, their final response was that I need to go to their shop, and closest one is 1 hour ride from my place. I proposed to send my details by email, but they told me it's not possible. I didn't find any other way to submit my dissatisfaction, as even bot chat was closing the chat as technical problem when I mentioned the issue I have.

Top Up Problems

It is very difficult to navigate your site to top up my account. I correctly saved my credit card information in the app, but when I went to purchase a service I received an error or a statement stating that I don’t have enough money in my accounts. I tried getting assistance through chat, but she stated foreign credit cards don’t work. If that is the case it is a company failure to have this restriction. If it isn’t the case, then their customer service is not providing accurate information and assistance to buy service.

Still no English support!

I wrote a review over a year ago about my Cosmo day, lacking other language support, considering they have so many non-Greek speaking people that visit in Greece and use their service. Despite receiving this reply below from Cosmo day indicating they would be bringing English language support soon as of February 2023 still no English language support… Very disappointing..So I will be using another service on my upcoming visit to Greece.
