I'm a big fan of word games, and while this game offers somewhat of a challenge I have to agree with other players that the "official" dictionary needs a major update. I've learned that to get the most out of this app, you really need to go ahead and finish each puzzle completely, not just go on to a new one after figuring out the 6-letter. Also, an app shouldn't boast itself as "free" when you actually HAVE to spend money to advance. If I were going to do that then I would have spent the $2 on TextTwist (which I used to play on the PC as a teenager and still to this day love). The layout is nice and easy to navigate. Decently fun game, just needs to be redesigned to give players more FREE options and puzzles. All around, I'd give it a high 3/5. So for ratings sake, I'm rating it as a 4/5.

Many issues ... Firstly, only the first category (25 games) is truly free. If you want to play the second category you'll find yourself here writing a review for the honor. All other categories must be paid for in order the play. Secondly, the game gets annoying because you are forced to touch a letter numerous times to successfully move it to the guess section. That gets frustrating as it really slows you down. There are many words you will play only to find this game does not consider them words--again, very irritating. I found a lot of words can be played over and over again. HINT: Adding an 's' at the end of words will take you far. There are no hint options and a few of the words will seem foreign so venture a guess if all else fails. I've had to look up the meaning of one or two three-letter words because I've never heard of them before, which can be a mix of frustration and an interesting challenge. I really like the shuffle feature and found it quite useful when all obvious words ran their course.

I am stuck, as I presume many others are, by my Googling, on the fourth 6-letter answer to ARTS number 49. I've tried Anagram Twists' cheat site, which I use when I'm really stuck, and it's 4th word is not being taken!! Huh?? I've tried several other anagram solving sites and those that had more than 4 words using the letters 'artist', none of the other words are the answer Anagram Twist wants to complete the puzzle! How puzzling is that?? I love word games and really like this app, but it's frustrating when the app isn't accepting any word to complete this puzzle! I can't find a way to contact the developer, either! Anyone have the answer?

It became tedious to have to tap the letters multiple times before they would activate to be included in the "guess" word. Sometimes when you tap the letter it just moves around and snaps back to the holding row, which is difficult to understand because there's only one thing you want that letter to do when you tap on it and that's to jump up and be part if your guess -- not swim around the holding tank. Also, and this seems to be a shortcoming on all of these anagram games, you get a shortened list of word possibilities because you're trying to fit all of the results onto a single screen. So words that were valid in the previous puzzle are not valid in the next because there are too many correct words to fit on one screen. Why couldn't there be a second screen for the spillover? People know how to use forward and back buttons.
