Tom Tierney, paper doll artist extraordinaire, presents a collection inspired by Hans Christian Andersen's fairy tales. This sampler is based on two stories: The Red Shoes and The Match Girl. Each page has several movable pieces and will appeal to young girls and paper doll collectors. Children can move the clothes and accessories to their taste, then click the camera button to save their designs to the photo album. A promo page within this app links to the full version app which has four additional stories.
After a successful career as fashion illustrator for JCPenney, Harper's Bazaar, Lane Bryant and Sports Illustrated, Tom Tierney began producing paper doll collections in 1976. Today he is likely the most-published paper doll artist in the world, with dozens of books and magazines featuring his character designs.
