Give this app a chance. It’s not bad, but you may have to make extra taps to get the video to be the correct size on screen. Also, if a video has no audio, then you may need to tap the Mute button several times. [At the time of this review, the app noted a video issue with iOS 13, and I thank the developers for being forthcoming.]The upper icon bar is hard to read in Dark Mode, and the only Live TV icon seems to be in this icon bar.Otherwise, the app seems fair. The use of transcripts with news clips is a nice touch, and there is a helpful text-size button, too. In general, the news section looks like the part of the app that was done first and foremost. There’s a handy section that has the latest video on demand for each show, including the music and entertainment shows.

If - big IF - app opens, it will work until I close it. Then when I try to reopen app, I get a black screen with a white box inside it. I tried uninstalling, powering off tablet. Then powering up and reinstalling app. Same problem, black screen with a white box inside it.Earlier this year, I had no problems at all. Live News sometime would freeze for a second or two, then continue working. I used to use this app a lot for the news and music. Please fix it.

Most clips are 15-30 minute segments, so sometimes I can't watch the whole thing in one sitting or I need to close the app for a moment to check a text message. Every time I close and reopen the app, it starts the clip over from the beginning and also makes it so I can not press anywhere on the screen so I need to reset the app. Too annoying and too big of an issue to continue to use this app :( I do enjoy the television channel.

The app works great but sometimes tapping on a target feels a little laggy and unresponsive. Also, the warning about using 3G and that carriers may charge extra pops up every time.
