The best Amortization App in the App Store! The free version takes as input: the loan amount, loan length (in years) and interest rate. It then provides the monthly payment, total amount that will be repaid and total interest that will be paid. Additionally it provides the complete amortization schedule in a scrollable text view.
An in App purchase option unlocks additional functionality: allowing for two loans to be shown on the screen simultaneously for easy side-by-side comparisons. The two sides run independently of each other so you can easily change the input to one (or both) and quickly re-run them.
The in App purchase also enables you to print to any AirPrint enabled printer, and to email a .pdf file of the output. The .pdf file has additional information displayed on each line of the amortization, including balance remaining, total interest paid to date and total amount applied to the principal to date.
This app has been updated by Apple to display the Apple Watch app icon.
Based on user feedback, total interest and total principal paid-to-date are now displayed on each line of the amortization (.pdf only).
