Love this app! I’ll be taking my HESI next month on December 11th. This app along with the Elsevier Edition 4 has been a great help. I’ll check back to tell you all my score. Edit: I PASSED! 8 points higher then what was required! Vocabulary, Math, & Grammar was on point. So was reading. A&P was okay for the actual test! I managed to make an 80 on that section. Of course it’s not what I wanted, but I passed. The biology in the app was nothing like the actual exam being that was my lowest scoring section (70) 😩. Overall the app was useful and I managed to get a good score, I wish it would’ve had a better biology section though.

So, I only needed to take the Reading, Math, Biology, and Chemistry portions of the HESI exam. This app in conjunction with the HESI prep book by Elsevier really helped me a lot. I ended up getting a 94.5 cumulative score. 100 on the Biology, 92 on the Chemistry, 96 on the math, and 90 on the reading. That being said do not expect to see the questions on this app on the exam. The exam tests your critical thinking so, the app combined with the book gives you all the basic knowledge you need but, you need to apply that knowledge on the test. It is also important to note that if you took bio and chem (or whatever courses match with the exam sections you are taking) and then you study with the prep book and app, you should be fine. But, be warned the chemistry section was very random and the prep was only slightly helpful. I highly recommend going over the periodic table properties thoroughly. I knew the biology so well because I just took Microbio prior to the test and had a huge biology review in the course. The prep and app are GREAT for the math and reading though.All the being said, I studied for only 2 weeks and got these scores so, this is a great resource!

Another suggestion: screen shot any questions you really had trouble with or had no idea what it was. English and Vocab was also on my test and this app helped since the physical prep book a friend gave me was pretty outdated and like 60% reliable when it came to Anatomy and Math...
