Family Memories right on our IPhone and TV for sure! This was money well spent to be able to watch our family history dating back to 1980 on all our VHS tapes that a VCR will no longer be guaranteed to work, we can now see them all on BIG screen TV with the click of a button! Imemories digitalized 50 of my VHS tapes for us and we are letting our whole family share our memories right inside their own home with downloading the iMemories app on a device or TV! It’s that simple! All the videos or pictures that we’re taken in the years past can now be inside your home on TV to show he family members any time and they are there forever! We had seven 8mm films and one VHS that survived a fire from 3 years ago. These films are from the late 60s to the 1970s with the VHS capturing the 1980s. These digital upgrades are worth it and the app makes it easily accessible. This was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. The images are polished and fluid. The staff divides the reels into episodic videos so you can pick and choose which event to see versus seeing the entire reel. There wasn’t a dry eye when we watched the films. We thought we could never have had a chance to see these memories again. Lastly, the staff are fantastic. Very helpful, kind, and considerate by working with us. I highly recommend iMemorise

I was drawn to imemories because of a promotion. I signed up and paid for what I thought was the total cost to digitize a VHS tape. Upon receipt of the tape, I was contacted by imemories indicating that I needed to make payment before they could process my order? Upon calling and speaking to a CSR, I learned that if I wanted a USB of the digitized media, I would have to make not only one, but two separate and additional payments: one for the digitization itself and the next for the actual USB. I still don’t see where all of this information is buried on the website. I imagine it is there somewhere, but certainly not readily apparent, so it seems fairly deceptive to me. The one thing I will commend them for is the helpful representative who refunded my original payment to offset the additional charge to have my VHS tape returned to me (unconverted).
