This application works as advertised. If you have a VPN profile already set up, simply tell the app to connect to it whenever Wi-Fi is detected. Waa laa, it connects every time I open my laptop. Here is the only problem. I am connecting to a VPN server at my house. As such, as soon as I get home and open my laptop, it tries to connect to the VPN….and fails because it can’t loop back to the same IP I’m originating from. If the developer could update this app to allow for exceptions, then I could avoid having it try to connect on certain SSID’s, while connecting everywhere else. That would make the app AMAZING and definitely worth 5 stars! Please consider this enhancement.

Nice little app that does what it says seamlessly. Doesn’t require re-authenticated each time as an earlier review claimed.After installing I tinkered around with various network connections turning them on and off again while this was running. It performed flawlessly. It gives you a warning when there is no network connection, which is nice. The only nit of a recommendation is that after three or five warnings it would either turn off automatically or ask you if you want to turn it off. But for the price, I’m happy with what it does. Oh, and sleep mode is nice – it reconnects after waking from sleep. Simple, elegant, and almost completely transparent.

I downloaded the utility, and found that it won't work with Norton VPN. It loads into the menu bar, but does nothing else that I can detect. I can't turn it on, yet it lets me check the Prevent Sleep Mode. And there is a dimmed-out line in the pull-down menu that says "No VPN found." Perhaps a restart is needed to fully integrate the app... I'll know that pretty soon...

I just installed this to help with a manual install of cyberghost on my new MacBook Air. It wouldn’t run the VPN software for some reason so I had to set it up manual. This app seems to be working so far on the latest OS as of Sept. 2018. I just lost connection and saw it reconnect, which it wasn’t doing previous to this app. Thank you. I will update.
